Baily Pond is a good option for anglers looking for stocked trout, especially during the cooler parts of the day. Early morning has been the most consistent time to start, with the bite generally slowing as the water warms during the middle of the day. Evening can also be productive as temperatures cool back down.For trout, PowerBait fished on the bottom is a good starting point, especially in areas where the bottom drops off from the shoreline. Salmon eggs are another strong bait choice and can be fished either on the bottom or suspended beneath a bobber. Nightcrawlers can also work well, particularly when the fish are less aggressive.
