Baily Pond is providing fair to good trout fishing, with rainbow trout being the primary catch. The best action is occurring during the early morning and late evening when fish are actively cruising the shoreline in search of food.Trout are commonly holding in 2 to 5 feet of water during low-light periods and moving into 5 to 8 feet of water as the day warms. Anglers fishing bait are having success with chartreuse and rainbow PowerBait, salmon eggs, and nightcrawlers fished near the bottom or suspended under a bobber.Those casting lures are finding success with small Rooster Tails, Panther Martins, Kastmasters, and trout magnets.
