Lake Merwin: Fishing has really slowed and most of the Kokanee are Spawning. Most of the fish are starting to Migrate to the East end of the Lake getting ready to Spawn. Currently, most of the fish are being caught 40 feet down. Kokanee is a 10 fish limit. Recommended set up is an Arrow Flash or other Dodgers with a hoochie or wedding ring spinner behind it. Fish hoochie's 8" inches back small spinners 12" back. Using down-riggers and setting depth to where you are marking fish will really improve your catch. Pink has recently been the go to color. Make sure you are using scented corn. We have all the gear, lures, flashers, dodgers and scents to help you be successful, come in and see us for more info! Kokanee Fishing has been excellent at Yale also. 20-40 deep also they will start staging on the East end of the Lake.

During the Fall and winter the Kokanee fishing at Merwin can get good. Currently the fishing is not consistent yet.
