Lake Merwin: The Kokanee fishing is good. This time of year, 40-60ft deep is best. early morning fishing shallower and on sunny days deeper. Recommended set up is a Flasher or Dodgers with a hoochie or wedding ring spinner behind it. Smaller lures and Dodgers seem to work better early in the year with the fish near the surface Fish hoochie's 8" inches back small spinners 12" back. Pink has recently been the go to color. Make sure you are using scented corn. We have all the gear, lures, flashers, dodgers and scents to help you be successful, come in and see us for more info! Note Fishing Kokanee in Yale is currently excellent, fish the same as Merwin except shallower.

During the Fall and winter the Kokanee fishing at Merwin can get good. Currently the fishing is not consistent yet. Recommended set up is a Arrow Flash Dodger with a hoochie or wedding ring spinner 8" to 10" behind it. Make sure you are using scented corn on the hooks.
