Lake Merwin: The Kokanee fishing is very good. This time of year, fishing near the surface is best early in the morning as the sun gets higher need to go down 10+ feet, it is recommended to have your lines 100 + feet back. Recommended set up is an Arrow Flash or other Dodgers with a hoochie or wedding ring spinner behind it. Smaller lures and Dodgers seem to work better early in the year with the fish near the surface Fish hoochie's 8" inches back small spinners 12" back. Pink has recently been the go to color. Make sure you are using scented corn. We have all the gear, lures, flashers, dodgers and scents to help you be successful, come in and see us for more info!
