Because Green Peter is typically stocked with rainbow trout in the spring, there havent been recent trout plantings in the winter months, and no new official reports indicate active catches for trout, kokanee, or bass at this time. Available reports also note that water levels in winter often sit near seasonal lows before refilling in late winter and spring, which can limit effective boat access and shore fishing opportunities.Historically, Green Peter has been known for rainbow trout fishing after spring stocking, especially in deeper water near creek mouths and dropoffs, and for kokanee salmon (although kokanee were dramatically impacted by the drawdowns). Smallmouth bass can also be present, though bass activity generally improves in warmer months.
