Jordanella Reservoir the boat ramps are wide open for boat anglers, and wedge docks are still in place. The water level is still very high. Anglers should see fair to good trout catch rates targeting deeper water. Garlic, corn, or cheese-scented trout dough baits fished off the bottomer behind a casting bubble can be very effective on a boat or shore. Trolling or actively casting the following lures can also be effective: Jakes Spin-A-Lure (make sure to get some Jakes they work very well for spring fishing!), Thomas Speedy Shiner, Eppinger Daredevil, Acme Kastmaster, Zona Lures Z-ray, Panther Martin, Blue Fox Classic Vibram Spinner, and Rapala Original. Bass: Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass catch rates are good this time of year. Soft plastic worms, StickbaitsTube Jigs, Twister Tail Grubs, Texas rigs, Carolina rigs, drop-shot rigs, Ned rigs, Neko rigs. Wacky-rigged Sonkos, Skirted jigs, streamers, swimbaits, and top water flies or lures can all produce fish. The Hailstone boat ramp and PWC ramp are typically open for anglers, and a wedge ramp is left in place at the PWC ramp. Boat, float tube and kayak anglers typically see fair trout cate rates (rainbow trout, brown trout, splake, and the occasional cutthroat trout) Drift trolling panfish/ crappie jigs, white or chartreuse tube jigs, marabou jigs, or streamers - patterns such as a balanced recommence anglers trolling for trout target the 15' - 25' water column. Shore anglers tend to see fair to good rainbow trout catch and recommend using garlic or corn-scented trout dough bait fishing. But, if you are going for walleye the recommended lures would be Minnows, Feather Jigs/ woolly buggers, Hair Jigs, tub jigs colors: (Pearl, chartreuse, glow, white, orange and two-tone), Curl tail grubs, Colors: (two-tone colors like white body with yellow tail, Black body with yellow tail, pearl, chartreuse, glow, white and orange). Also, there is yellow perch when going for these fish you should you (two-toned tub jigs or curl tail jigs color: (yellow, red, chartreuse, pink, orange, neon yellow, and glow)).
