As of 5/13-5/14 flows decreased dramatically down to 118cfs, and are back up today 5/17 to 570cfs. Expect the flows to continue to fluctuate throughout the season. Be on the look out for larger bugs being washed into the river and the occasional grasshopper. Expect midges and BWO to be your main staple. Scuds, worms, leeches and crane fly larvae can all be great lead flies for your nymphing rigs. Don't be scared to throw some streamers with heavier flows; black, white, and olive are your go-to's here. Spring BWO hatches usually happen in the middle of the day.
