As of 4/24/24 Monument lake water temp is around 60 degrees. Fish should start to be more active. This location draws alot of crowds on the weekends to be prepared to try and squeeze in and scout a spot when fishing from shore. Trout fishing has picked up using streamers and midges. There should be chances with BWOs, black beautys, leeches, worm patterns and a variety of midges. Pike will also be crusing the shallows looking for food with the warmer weather. No report on bass.
