Fishing has been fair as the water is in the upper 60s. Walleye are starting to come in shallow when the sun goes down usually between 8-11pm has been best. Anglers have had luck with jerkbaits being slowly retrieved and twitched close to shore using Rouge jerkbaits, Husky Jerks, X-Raps, Lucky Craft pointer minnows and any similar to these baits. When retrieving these baits the pause is the most important part to trigger bites. There has still been some success trolling during the day. Smallmouth are eating about anything all over the lake. Most success is coming from ned rigs, wacky rigs thru the day and topwater early morning.
