As of 4/24/24 fishing has been decent as the water has warmed up quite a bit. The coves and northwest side of the lake has been warmest. Walleye and bass have been starting to come in shallow in the early mornings and late evenings. Walleye are still being caught all over the lake. Many people have been using bottom bouncers and trolling worm harness rigs. Most anglers have been fishing between 15-20 ft of water and catching fish. Bass fishing has picked up in the warmer areas on the lake back in coves and off points using dropshots, wacky rigs and slip[ bobber rigs with crawlers or leeches.
