As the weather is getting cooler the fishing has been decent. The lake is less than 50% percent full as it has been for awhile now which is concentrating all the fish in the deeper drop offs. This time of year flies like fall BWO, small chironomids and scuds will be your best chance at catching. If fishing for pike look for the shallow weedy areas and try larger lures or even topwater if its early or cloudy. The lake will close by 11/15/26 for winter.
