The rain finally decided to take a break for a few days. The current throughout the reservoir is slightly higher than normal. Visibility has improved throughout the lake but is still significantly better on the lower portion of the reservoir. The water levels are at full pool; the latest depth recorded is below. For any discharge or lake elevation info, check out the TVA Lake Info App.Reservoir ConditionsWater Temp: 68.8 degrees FahrenheitWater Clarity: Upper: 3.5 ft Lower: 5 ftWater Level: (as of May 31st)828.33 feetWater Flow: (as of May 31st) Ocoee#1 Dam: ~ 675 cfs Ocoee#2 Dam: ~ 1110 cfs (spilling)Observed Species InformationBass: Fishing is fair. Throwing jerk baits, crankbaits and swimbaits around logs in clearer water sloughs. Also ned rigs and other soft plastic rigs around points with structure. Topwater baits over suspended fish also has brought some anglers success. Many anglers are using trick worms around rocky banks with laydowns.Crappie: Live minnows/small jigs over submerged structure on 1520-foot flats have been the most successful practice..
