Anglers have been having success catching trout (both brown and rainbow trout), but other fish, such as bass and catfish, do not inhabit the creek in large numbers, and are not caught often. Fly fishing has produced the biggest catches as of lately, with anglers finding the nymphs and leeches have worked best. As for lures, rooster tails and small jerkbaits have worked well. Baited lines have not seen great production, but nightcrawlers and Powerbait are always good choices (baited on a regular hook or treble hook, sized 12-16). It is best to sightfish, casting upstream of any trout spotted and bringing the line downstream past them. For locations, the waters north of Junipine Resort have given anglers many catches.
