Mississinewa Reservoir is 14,386 acres and has an 1,100 acre lake. It is also one of the three Upper Wabash flood-control reservoirs, offers excellent fishing, hunting and boating opportunities in the heart of north-central Indiana. Home to a variety of popular fish species, including largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, white crappie, bluegill, channel catfish and walleye. Make sure you stay up to date as fishing regulations in Indiana can change throughout the year. Most of these fish can be caught by fishing the points and coves, look for tapering points that lead to deep water access. Some of the best fishing times at Mississinewa Lake are from 12 AM to 3 AM and from 1 PM to 3 PM. The best places to fish are the points and coves, especially tapering points that lead to deep water. During my research I found that Strike King Mr. Crappie Tubes, Crappie jigs, Worden's Original Rooster Tails are all good for white crappie.
