As always use caution on lake ice making sure it is thick enough to support your weight and gear. Watch out for springs and overflow! Rainbow trout are the target at this lake and range medium to large in size. Small jigs or spoons in gold, white, glow, or chartreuse also work well.

Access Info
There are 3 public access points.Wasilla City Park at Mile 41.7 Parks Hwy. City Park on right with access to lake, picnic table, toilet facilities, no boat launch.
Stream/Canoe access to Northeast end lake, Directions - Mile 41.7 Parks Hwy. Right on Crusey St. 0.5 mile to Bogard Road. Right on Bogard Rd. 3.0 miles to Seward Meridian Road. Right on Seward Meridian Rd. 0.2 mile to parking on right. 0.2 miles to access on right.
Canoe access at the end of E Palmdale Dr.
