As always use caution on lake ice making sure it is thick enough to support your weight and gear. Watch out for springs and overflow! Rainbow trout are the target at this lake and are small to medium in size with a few really large fish on occasion. Small jigs or spoons in gold, white, glow, or chartreuse work well. Jigs can also be tipped with Pautzkes Balls O' Fire or Cured shrimp and fished under a float. This is a large but shallow lake so working the deeper holes will yield the best results.
