The striper bite remains lukewarm with a tough bite for resident fish in the 18 to 24-inch range on blood worms, pile worms, sardines, or anchovies. Shad have been holding between the mouth of the Feather down to Verona and from Freeport to the mouth of the American. Sabiki Rigs, curly tail grubs, or small spinners have all been working.
