Bass fishing is picking up. The lake is about half full as the DWR lets out enough to accept the spring run off. Concentrate on main lake points. Avoid running to far up creek arms as the in-flow is COLD. The fish are moving up and back from deep water to shallow anywhere from 10ft. down to 30ft. All of the usual suspects are working. A-rigs, jerkbaits and squrebills for the reaction bite. Or, bounce a drop shot, shaky head, ned rig or jig off the bottom. Trout are still being stocked with the coves near Browns Ravine or the dam being best. Throw spinners or soak bait like inflated worms or Powerbait.

Folsom Lake is a reservoir on the American River in the Sierra Nevada foothills of California, United States. It is located within Placer, El Dorado, and Sacramento Counties.
