The Black Bass bite is ON! Longer, warmer days have the bass spawning. Moving baits are working down to 15ft. Or, throw drop shots, shaky head worms and jigs on main lake points. The further we get into spring the fish will be found further and further back in the shallow water coves. Trout fishing has been good. Try soaking powerbait or an inflated worms near the damn or deep rocky coves. No reports of trout planting yet. The water is up so the 5 MHP limit has been lifted. **Call ahead or check the website for watercraft restrictions/inspections.**

Folsom Lake is a reservoir on the American River in the Sierra Nevada foothills of California, United States. It is located within Placer, El Dorado, and Sacramento Counties.
