With the lakes and reservoirs thawing the bass are starting to get more active. Hard jigging deeper waters can get their attention and spinner baits are starting to catch some action as well. Walleye are still sitting pretty deep but with the tournaments picking up in our area they are active and thick. Try pulling worm harnesses and spinning jigs to pull their attention away from the more natural prey. Blade baits can work fairly well this time of year in the main lake humps. Make sure you check your local regulations before heading out for any rule changes and don't be afraid to ask any of our fishing associates if you have any questions!
