Pineview is waking up and starting to turn on, with crappie and smallmouth taking center stage as the water warms, while tiger muskie are still slow but cruising deeper edges and weed lines if you want to put in effort; crappie are showing in pockets and coves around submerged structure hitting small jigs and plastics, especially in the afternoon, while smallmouth are starting to move into rocky shorelines and points eating tubes, Ned rigs, and jerkbaits; trout are still around but less of the main bite; overall its a transitional bite but trending up fast with crappie/smallmouth both around 6.57/10.

Pineview is almost exclusively accessed via either Trappers Loop (Hwy 167) or Ogden Canyon (Hwy 39).
