Big lake is a great place to target big Arctic Char/Dolly Varden. Rainbow fishing can also be very productive. Northern Pike are present in some areas of the lake and some very large fish have been taken in recent years. This is a no bait lake. Hot orange, glow and chartreuse tubes work well here along with spoons and spinners in the same colors. Using electronics can really increase your catch. There is a emergency order for the Big Lake/ Fish Creek drainage. Arctic Char/Dolly Varden are now NO RETENTION. All arctic char/dolly varden must be released unharmed immediately.
