The Trinity is running clear. It is running about a foot higher due to an increase in release from Lewiston Dam. There are plenty of salmon and steelhead in the river. Spinners seem to be the ticket for harvesting them this year.

While the releases from Lewiston remain at 300 CFS, there is still fish in the system and anglers are getting into fish every day. There are fish spread out from Douglas City down to Cedar Flat. With low flows, they aren't moving a lot. To bring the slug of fish holding down towards Willow Creek, we will need some rain. There are still fish in the lower Klamath moving up, we expect to see these fish show up over the next few weeks.
