We are experiencing abnormally high water levels as of now with heavy east and southeast winds, which will drive saltier salinity levels back up. This is extremely important, as speckled trout seem to favor these conditions. Flounder and Speckled trout should be showing up soon. When fishing for flounder you want to use dark colored lures such as Matrix Shad in Avocado. When targeting specks, you want to use light colored baits on clear water days, so natural colored plastics work best. Cloudy weather and murky water days use Matrix in Lemonhead. Remember, the key to the bridge is getting your bait to the bottom before you jig back up.
