The lake is at the summer pool level (recreation pool) by mid-April. Largemouth Bass, use the Heddon Black shore Minnow, Wopper Plopper, and Spinnerbaits. Crappie, use the Mepps Black Fury in-line spinner or the Storm WildEye Swim Shad Panfish, use grubs, in-line spinners, spinnerbaits and spoons.
