The striper bite has become much better in the area but it is still hot or cold depending on tides and time of day. Anglers are reporting success on both cut baits as well as some lure action for the striper. The go to cut baits have been herring and anchovies. For lures anglers have reported good results from striper candy lures and jerk baits. As for the sturgeon there has been limited success in the area but anglers are having their best results off roe.
