The lake is currently closed to boaters with the exception of obtaining a 30 day red tag and waiting the period of 30 days of inspection. Due to the boater restrictions there has not been many anglers out on the water. However for fishing the bite has started to heat up. Anglers are having success for bass on slow moving baits such as soft plastics and jigs. The go to has been smaller profiles such as ned rigs and smaller jigs but a variety of lures will entice a strike.
