Bass: Senkos are always a go to, either wacky or Texas rigged. Creature baits(Googan Bandito Bug, Yamamoto Covert Craw, Zoom Brush Hogs) Dropshot and ned rigs(Z-Man TRD, Yum Ned dinger, Crushcity Ned BLT) work well this time of year as well. Green Pumpkin, Watermelon Red or even Smoke with Purple Flake. Top Water in the early morning/late evening, use poppers, Whopper Ploppers or Frogs(Strike King, Booyah, Lunkerhunt, Ribbit). Senkos and creature baits rigged up and flipped in to brush and cover are a great way to go as well. Jigs do great in this time of year as well. RatlTraps and Lipless crankbaits are also popular. Striper: Swimbaits, lipless crankbaits and deep diving crank baits. Catfish: Stink baits, Dough Baits, and Chicken liver on a slip sinker rig are great for keeping the bait on the bottom. Bluegill: nightcrawlers, mealworms, soft plastics on a small hook or jig. Bluegill can be found in shallower areas with weed beds.
