In the spring, trout fishing- for boat and shore anglers- is usually best in shallow to mid-depth waters. For shore anglers, try using dough bait or a worm off the bottom in shallow water. Boat anglers can do well trolling shallow- to medium diving crankbaits or a pop gear and a worm or squid and dodger combinations.
