LAKE MOHAVE/ WILLOW BEACH Anglers are still catching catfish in the coves using anchovies, though some have found success with homemade stink baits. Striper bites are still good at night or sunrise but be prepared to slowly troll the swimbait. Rainbow trout action is good following trout plants outside the Hatchery. Rainbows will bite on midges and spinners the best.

Fisherman are finding success with black bass using crankbaits and jerkbaits fishing south of Cottonwood Cove. Striped bass are being taken near Katherines Landing and Willow Beach. Shore anglers at Willow Beach have had success using anchovies near the bottom and casting large imitation trout lures during early morning or late night hours.
