Anglers are catching stripers all over Boulder Basin on various-sized shad swimbaits. Threadfin shad are being found shallow and proving the best way to catch stripers. Black Bass are slow to bite. Many anglers are getting hits but not finding commitment from them. Catfish are hitting on a variety of stinkbaits and anchovies right at sunset.

Temperatures have increased above 100 degrees and as a result, early morning and late evening are providing the best opportunities. Catfish and striped bass are taking cut anchovies. Boating anglers are finding success at the cove entrances in the Vegas Wash area. Black bass are being taken along the weedy shorelines near Calville Bay and Hemenway Harbor.
