Access Info
Smaller trout in the 10-12 inch range have been caught using worms and power baits. Small spinners such as panther martins, have also been effective. Fly fishing using hare’s ears, pheasant tail nymphs, prince nymphs small crystal buggers and Cave Lake specials are all good flies. Mayflies have been hatching as the water temperature increases. In addition, the lake has been stocked with nearly 12,000 trout this spring.Click here to unsubcribe from your fishing reports.
