Striped bass are still hitting steadily, especially over rockpiles and main lake points in 40+ feet of water. The go-to bait continues to be cut anchovies, with both drifting and anchored presentations working well.Largemouth bass are holding in the 2030 ft range, particularly around submerged structure. Drop-shot rigs paired with 6-inch Roboworms (morning dawn and oxblood colors are hot) have been producing consistent bites.Catfish activity is on the rise as the lake continues to warm up. Focus your efforts around the dams and inlet areas, where anglers are scoring using anchovies, mackerel, and shrimp, especially in the late afternoon and evening.Bluegill and redear sunfish are also picking up along the dam staircases and rocky shorelines. Bring your light gear small jigs, nightcrawlers, and mealworms are all working well.
