The return of the Causeway is in full effect, Anglers are now catching speckled trout along the pilings with the 8-mile hump being the shining bright spot. In addition to the return of speckled trout and redfish, anglers catching flounders and while it's sporadic, its a great sign that the 24-mile reef is back. Best bets are Matrix Shad on a 3/8 oz head. You may have to make a few runs to find where the trout are but when you catch one, key in on where you caught it and try to replicate the cast. When fishing the Causeway, it's all about patterns.
