Trout fishing continues to be good with the second round of trout stockings beginning last week. Trout are still being caught on a variety of live bait and soft plastics. Anglers are catching a few suckers and steelhead mixed in while trout fishing. Presque Isle Bay is starting to heat up for smallmouth and largemouth bass with a mix of pike being caught. Perch can still be found throughout the bay and on the piers. Walleye season is almost upon us and will open on May 4th!
