Steelhead fishing remains good throughout the Erie tributaries. Anglers are catching fish all through the creeks up high and at the access points. Most fish are being caught on egg and minnow patterns. The size of fish this year have been much larger from average due to there being plenty of forage on the lake. There are some anglers taking advantage of plenty of crappie and perch being caught in the bay in marinas and around docks. Smallmouth bass and lake trout are starting to be caught in shallow water and this will continue to just keep getting better
