The PA trout opener was April 6th. Anglers can find trout in many of the local streams using live bait such as minnows, wax worms and meal worms. Steelhead are still spread throughout various streams and can be caught using a variety of live bait and different minnow pattern flies. Presque Isle Bay has continued to be productive for perch using live minnows and a variety of soft plastics on drop shot presentations.
