As the water warms, the fish are starting to push from the rivers and out into the bay. The redfish bite has been on fire in the bay with the speckled trout right behind it. They are primarily being found on grass flats with potholes and on oyster bars. Spanish mackerel are back in abundance and can be found chasing schools of bait on the flats or near any structure. Be prepared for the coming tarpon season as we see water temperatures start to warm up. The snook and tarpon will follow and move to the beaches.
