Anglers have started to catch crappies and perch in the shallow bays using plastics such as Bobby Garland Shads and other minnow presentations. Anglers from shore have been fishing the local marina's catching a variety of species. Anglers have also reported catching walleye around weed beds. Spring time walleye fishing can produce great numbers of fish for anglers fishing towards the south end of the lake.
