Owyhee River flows are down and fishing is great on this tailwater! Currently at about 190 CFS, we are in sight fishing territory. Its warm this time of the year, but the water remains cold. Hatches are early. Be ready with a midges (size 18-24) PMD and BWO (size 18-22). Hoppers will start to show soon. Hopper dropper with a FB pheasant tail. Nymphing is always productive as are wooly buggers and leech patters for those browns. Sparkle Duns, Griffiths Gnat, Rusty Spinner, WD-40, FB Pheasant tails, Zebra Midges (red/black), Rainbow warrior, KF midge, Split Case PMD, Bead Head Woolly Buggers. 4x, 5x, 6x leaders and tippet. Water temp averaging 47 degrees.
