Largemouth and Smallmouth bass are available. There are lots of brown carp and the occasional Walleye. Temperatures are coming up, and the weeds are out. Fish the early morning and late afternoon along the weed lines. Colors for Senko are: Black and Blue, Junebug, Green Pumpkin, Ozark Smoke, and Summer Gill. Wacky and Texas style rigs, skirted structure jigs with a Hawg Craw trailer, chatters, spinner baits, and frogs also produce results. If you want to sit and soak, good fishing for channel catfish and fair fishing for panfish exists from the docks and embankments. Recently, bowfishing for carp has become popular.
