The Berryessa bass bite is cooling off, but slow and methodical techniques are still getting fish. Spotted bass are chasing shad, and underspins or A-rigs are producing consistent bites as long as you work them slowly. Focus on points and steep rocky areas. As you may have heard Lake Berryessa is following decontamination procedures because of the Golden Mussel found in the Port of Stockton Delta. For more information go to the Solano County Water Agency website. They currently have a decontamination site at Steele Park Launch area.
