Lake Berryessa is loaded right now. both with fish and boat traffic. Trout are the headline, especially Eagle Lake strain rainbows that are lighting up and slow-trolled spoons in the top 25 feet. Bass are hammering topwater along the banks as shad get pushed shallow. Largemouth, smallmouth, and spots are all in play, with early morning being best. Kokanee are starting to show deep off the east side near Big Island, and theres the occasional king salmon mixed in for trollers working that zone.
