Fishing between Rockport and Echo is good. The water level near Mountain Green and Ogden is murky and high. We do not recommend fishing this stretch, due to dangerous conditions. Try using the following patterns on the middle Weber; caddis larva; brown zebra midges; sow bugs; and attractor flies such as Hares Ears, pheasant tails, prince nymphs and wooly buggers. Anglers are catching 16- to 22-inch brown trout and 13- to 16-inch white fish. Try nymphing in deep runs and pools. Use a split shot to get your line down deep before the midge hatch begins. Midges, blue-wing olives and skwala stones are hatching on warm afternoons.
