Tims Ford Lake fishing is very good right now, featuring active fall feeds on smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, crappie, and walleye as surface temperatures drop into the 60s and winter drawdown begins.
Smallmouth & Largemouth Bass: Rated good to very good, with mixed bags and keeper limits coming out of shallow water (3 to 7 feet), brush piles, rocky banks, and laydowns near channel swings. Slow-dragged crawfish imitations, finesse rigs, small Texas rigs (such as 3 soft plastic craws/pit bosses), and shallow-diving crankbaits are performing well
Crappie: Rated fair to good, holding around docks, brush, and standing timber
