Fish can be found in fall patterns. Water will stay cooler than other lakes as Seneca is the deepest of the finger lakes. You can find largemouth and smallmouth bass, walleye, perch, and the occasional lake trout. Fish with jigs, worms, spinners, and spoons. Access to fish can be found at any state park along the lake, including but not limited to, Clute Park and Smith Park.
