As of 04/16/2024, Quincy Reservoir boasts 160 surface acres of water that is well known by metro anglers for bass, trout, perch, and crappie. Fishing is allowed with artificial flies and lures only. This provides a different, challenging experience for anglers, while also reducing fish mortality rates and allowing better management of this unique resource. fishing at Quincy has been extremely slow however the Bass have started to spawn. they are in shallow water. Fishing has been productive throwing top water early morning and late evenings. Spinners and crank baits in a red have been productive. Try throwing plastics around shallow areas using a texas rig or Carolina rig working it slow in the later afternoons.
