The sturgeon bite has been very hot in the area. Anglers are hauling in plenty of fish off of roe and ghost shrimp. There has also been a good striper bite to match with anglers producing stripers with a variety of tactics. Cutbaits and lures are a good way to hook up from the bank, but the top producer has been live bait such as bull head and mudsuckers. Trollers have also been reporting good numbers of fish taken off yozuris and predator minnows.
