The current water flow is normal for this time of year, at 296 cubic feet per second... The water temperature has been fluctuating between the high 30s and low 40s. Anglers have been picking up some nice wild brown trout on streamers and nymphs, and the fish have been congregating in deeper pools, and areas where springs are increasing water temperatures slightly. The hatches to look out for would be both black and grey midges (size 20-22), and black stonefly (sizes 14-16). Fishing streamers (especially sculpin patterns) will help produce large fish from deeper runs. Small jerk-baits like the Rapala X-Rap 4's and 6's are also a great choice for spinning anglers.
Hatches: Midges (20-26)
Hot Patterns: Midges (20-24)
Orange Perdigeons (14-18)
Greenie Weenie (12-14)
Sunken Ant (12-16)
