Water conditions vary right now depending on where you are on the lake. Early spring fishing is some of the best of the year on this lake. Great numbers of fish can be caught right now. Rapala DT 6, KVD 1.5 crankbaits, drop shot rigs and finesse jigs are great options. Jerkbaits like a Megabass 110 or a Strike King KVD J300 will catch largemouth, smallmouth and the occasional striper right now. Stripers are being caught in good numbers on trolling techniques with live shad.
