Bass 2 Trout 2 Bluegill 2 Catfish 2 Crappie 1 Food and Drink Southwest Fresno set to finally get a Starbucks READ MORE Michael Crayne of Valley Rod in Gun in Clovis said, Hensley has been the better of the two lakes as Eastman is loaded with debris, particularly near the dam. The best bet is to toss chartreuse spinnerbaits with large Colorado blades to create both the sight and noise necessary to fool a largemouth bass in the stained water. There are plenty of planted rainbow trout in both lakes ready to be caught once the water clears. Avenue 26b between Roads 27 and 29 the main road to Eastman is closed due to a washout across the roadway, but Road 29 is open. Eastman has risen to 69% within the week with Hensley dropping to 32% due to water releases. Both lakes are like chocolate milk with heavy mud and debris. It will be weeks before the lakes settle down and clear.
