Grantsville Reservoir was heavily stocked with catchable-sized rainbow trout last month. The reservoir is ice free and trout catch rates are high. Trout dough bait, inline spinners, spoons, streamers and hard body swimbaits are producing fish. (Dec. 15, 2023)

From Grantsville, take West Street (Mormon Trail) South for about 3.5 miles to Willow Road/Davenport Road. Take a right on Davenport Road. There are two reservoir turnoffs, to the South, from Davenport road. One is about 0.6 miles and one at 1.1 miles west on Davenport road. Grantsville Reservoir: Anglers are catching fish, but the bite is slow. Local anglers are catching rainbow trout and the occasional smallmouth bass using inline spinners, spoons, nightcrawler and trout dough bait.
