Water levels are high and the water is murky. There are a few scattered striper in the system, but difficult to catch. The Feather River from Highway 70 downstream is open steelhead year-round. The section from the Table Mountain Bridge to Highway 70 is open to the take of hatchery steelhead from January 1 through July 15. Only barbless hooks may be used, and a Steelhead Report Card is required along with the 2023 fishing license.
