The Fall has been fishing well lately with fish scattered throughout the river. Fair to good nymphing. Some mid day midge and BWO hatches along some Black Midge hatches. Fly Fishing Only!

From Bend head south on hwy. 97, 18 miles. Turn west at Vandervert Road to Huntington. Turn south to South Century Drive, then head west crossing the Little and Big Deschutes Rivers. About 3 miles west of the Deschutes you can turn left on USFS Rd. # 4360 to the stretch above the falls. The hwy parallels the river just past the hatchery and for a few more miles to the campground and then the guard station.
