Eleven Mile marina reports that the lake is 50% ice covered and looks to be coming off quickly with the recent winds. Lots of shore fishing opportunities around the lake. Almost all baits are working, from flies to power baits and everything in between. Salmon eggs and Trout eggs do really well. Lots of flys work well here like a wolly bugger or Leach. You don't have to pitch a fly rod to use a fly but don't tell those dream streamers that, they will scoff at you. Fly and a three foot leader to a water bubble works just fine. Some great lures are the Kastmasters, the Super duper and the Krocodile lures. Lots of jigs work particularly the tube jigs. Tube jigs come in lot's of colors so try a few and one may hit better than the other depending on what the fish are wanting at the time.
